So finally we have the new cd done!
Nothin' but a PARTY features Jolene on guitar and vocs, me on harp and vocs, with a drummer/percussion guy and a bassist backing us. All new material!!!
This whole thing is a grass roots original penned by Jolene and me.
I'm about to look into CDbaby and maybe a download deal as well.

Just on Downloads etc. You can use CD baby as a digital distributer too. They can get you to iTunes, Amazon, Spotify (if you want to offer it as streaming thing) etc – These guys only deal with digital distributors, not with individual acts directly.
It's also worth looking at bandcamp.com. You have a lot more autonomy with these guys. You can set your price, have some tracks (or all) free to listen online etc. They also have some good tools and stats so you can see who's listening and who's downloading etc.

Jbone! Just jumped over to your reverbnation page. I've listened to your music and commented on it before, but it stands repeating- you guys are great. I don't know how to say it but yall are just a straight up, plain and simple, solid team.
To those who say you're no Jason Ricci or Howard Levy or who ever, they're right, but I think you like that. You got your own thing going, you obviously enjoy it, AND enjoy doing it together. That's a special thing. People like you make me happy. Keep up the good work my friend.

Brad, guilty as charged, I am as unlike other players as I know how to be. I also know I have the best partner ever. Jolene keeps surprising. The latest cd is proof. I have thrown challenges at her repeatedly and she has prevailed a large part of the time.
Without the solid backing guitar- and her fine contralto singing as well- not to mention the great writing partnership we have- I'd be fairly vanilla. Her enthusiasm and chops have allowed me to cut loose.

Well, I got my copy of Nothin but a Party!!!!
All original songs written by Jawbone and Jolene! I have all of their CD's and I have to say that this is the best one. You'll hear some chromatic and diatonic playing, the gravelly, bluesy voice of Jawbone, plus the sweet voice of Jolene. They have the backing of a drummer and bass player on this one. If you're a songwriter or appreciate original songs, you'll want to get this CD. If you just like listening to good blues music, you'll want to get this CD. Thanks Jawbone and be sure to put me on the list for your next CD!
