Here's another tune I recorded with a Boston area band called Two Bones & A Pick, the Junior Parker classic, Mother In Law Blues, and here I'm playing with more of a mid to late 60's James Cotton approach. The personnel here is Dave Haley on guitar & vocals, myself, Troy Gonyea on guitar (he takes the solo here), John Haley on electric bass, Michael Dunforth on drums and John Cameron on piano.

This was recorded with me using a '95 Pro Junior (with the same stock speaker that the original Bassman reissues used), an Astatic JT30 with a crystal cartridge, and an all tube Echoplex.

That's awesome! Reminds me of the blues I used to get when my mother-n-law would visit. The woman never knocked on a door! She caught me and the wife twice, and Me three times :) Lol. Great, great playin

That was a really authentic and muscular song with perfect harp. I don't mean to compare but the drive at times sounded a lot like W. Clarke

Thanks, everybody! Glad you've enjoyed it. Everyone on this recording are all playing blues like it should be played, and that's behind the beat.

@marine1896 -- I think that may be from an old radio broadcast that I did some years back that I still haven't had a chance to convert to MP3 yet.

@bigd -- Nice to be compared to Clarke, and I actually opened for him a few months before he passed away. Cotton was a big influence on his sound and a few tunes he did clearly reflects that, especially when he uses his hands to shape his sound, which is something most harp players seldom ever do.
