I’m making a brief stop at Augusta Blues Week in Elkins, WV July 15 & 16.

I just got the OK from Joe Filisko to play bass during his performance workshop. Bobby Hughes will be there on guitar. Together, we will play backup for the harp players wanting to work on their harp performance.

I am looking forward to a harp jam Wed & Thur night on the porch of Halliehurst. I hope to re-meet some of you there.

Wow: I would love to go. Bobby Hughes is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Is Teeny Tucker Band going to be there? If so; her harp player is Dave Gastel, He is also good player and great guy.

everyone should experience Blues Week once in their life!

In some ways, it is more all encompassing and stretches out further than SPAH, offering more chance to interact with many other non-harmonica playing musicians. Also, being less "star-studded" than SPAH creates a more intimate atmosphere.

@KC
I have only seen Teeny there once. I would be surprised if she is there again.

@Iceman
I agree. Everyone should go at least once. It can change your "harmonica life"
