I was in a second-hand bookstore the other day and they had a framed "JET" magazine cover (replica?) from March 1952. Headline: "Do White Singers Imitate Negroes?"

I don't think this issue will ever be redressed.

That's google for you. If you use a better search engine, you'll get mostly music. I tried it on DuckDuckGo and it was 3/4 music and 1/4 dresses...

@kudzurunner. I never let a Dad joke dwell in the dark, much to the dismay of my offspring. I remember when the dress thing was doing the rounds. I saw the dress as one of the two potential color schemes. Actually, looks blue and brown to me. Must be the lighting.I am envious of those with synesthesia.
