I went to Wild Bill's once or twice when I first moved to Mississippi but haven't been back. It's still around, and it's a honest-to-god juke joint. This brief documentary gets at the vibe. Vince Johnson is the harp player. He's been working on Beale Street for the long time; we're acquaintances. (In fact, I remember him letting Brandon Bailey and Jay Gaunt sit in, out on Beale, early on.)
