Could someone please tell me what the tune / riff is that's being played here? It appears to be "the" demo riff I hear all over. Ronnie Shellist plays it on some of his videos as does Nic Clark. I would love to play this and hope there's some tabs available?? Thanks everyone! ---------- OEStone
1847 - Neither. That whole rig belongs to John Rafferty. It was an old crystal JT-30 with the Megatone amp. I had never played through one before. I don't play that tune very often. Aki had played before me and was getting some cool Big Walter sounds out of it, so he inspired me.
Thanks for the kind words. The following week was Big Walter Horton's birthday, so we did it again, but this time is was with Big Jon Atkinson, Kedar Roy and Donnie Green. Played through a JT30 with a Shure CM and a Sonny Jr 410.
Hey Joe, This Is the shit. I keep coming back to listen. Thanks for posting 1847.Poor sound quality on the second vid but still good stuff ( Two BigTone's on stage together).
Big Tone Joe, huh? I agree with that! Kicking butt there, Joey. ---------- Ricky B http://www.bushdogblues.blogspot.com RIVER BOTTOM BLUES--crime novel for blues fans available at Amazon/B&N, iTunes, iBook THE DEVIL'S BLUES--ditto HOWLING MOUNTAIN BLUES--Ditto too, now available
