I wanted to let you know about this guy Mark Wilson of lewiilsonmicrophones.comout in Springfield, Oregon.
Got in touch with him back in February, as I’d heard he might be working on broken Shure elements.
Last week I sent him 6 dead Shure Black Label CRs. Either I couldn’t get any tone out of them, or they were really weak.
Got them back in a few days, and tested them all last night.

Each of the elements worked again, and maintained that Black Label tone and resonance.
I am very happy with the results.
If you have a drawer of dead elements to revive, drop this fellow a note.
