A friend of mine turned me onto to these a few days ago. There weren't many made, but he has an R5T. Seems to me it's be in the same class as a Kalamazoo Model Two....5W, 10" alnico, tremolo, it even uses a 6X4 rectifier like a Zoo, but with a 6V6 instead of a 6BQ5. They're so rare, the last one I've caught sight of for sale online went for $2500! Anyone ever come across any of these? They also made amps badged for Martin.

I'll bet that amp is fantastic.

I have an old Gretsch guitar with DeArmond pickups. They seem to be very well thought of judging by ebay. Sales history

DeArmond made some of the coolest guitar pickups ever. Gretsch's sound great because of them, as do the old Fender Coronados.

I'll be watching the pawnshops, thrift stores and garage sales for one of those.
