That will be for the first 50 amps.
The regular price will be $350.
If I got all the hype correct.

What do we all think of it? Personally i loved its sound and given Randys reputation with his pedals he is probably onto a winner.
I just wish that guys selling these small harp friendly amps would let us hear what they sound like through a PA because in reality that is how most of us end up using them.Mind you then you have to deal with the vagaries of PAs..they all sound different as well.
Randy does talk a lot about the'special'speakers effect on the volume and tone of the amp but what happens when it is effectively used solely as a pre amp into a PA.?
I have a no name little 5 watter valve amp that kills on its own but sounds like chainsaw through a PA.
Just wonderin'

@Popculture Chameleon; Yeah, I was kidding, sounds Ok looks great. I'm way past wanting to buy new gear! 59 Bassman, early Fender Pro Junior (with 12'' speaker), lone wolf reverb, and AFB+, crystal(rod mod) jt30's that's all I need! tried/heard most of the others!

But if I could get anything else for £50 hell yeah...haha!

I think they should get regular players to demo these new things.
Who can tell how good or bad an amp is when a pro is playing thru it?
Rick Davis always pushes his amp with that Nic kid playing thru it.
Sorry, but that Nic kid probably makes anything sound good.
Lone Wolf has a ringer playing thru their amp. I assume he is a ringer the way the built up the "upcoming demo" a month ago.

I learned a while ago that I don't buy ANY gear unless I can play with it. Preferably with my other gear.

Now, if any new gear manufacturer wants a hobbyist to give a fair demo of their new gear... I am available!

@Indigo...the sound through the PA is entirely dependent on the PA. The line out sounds good, but if you go into a piece of junk PA, it probably will sound pretty nasty.

@eharp...Johnny is an animal :D Once the amp is released, I'm sure there will be more demos out there.

As an FYI, I try not to "advertise" on here in respect to this being such a great forum. If anyone wants to personally discuss anything, shoot me an email. I'm going to try to stay out of the conversation.

Nathan- I think the harp community is small enough where one needs not advertise. We are all tunes into most of the same sites and if just a couple of us see/hear about a new product, it doesn't take long for the word to spread.
You shouldn't stay out of the conversation. Or at least jump in if we are incorrect on some of our "facts".

Also- when I called Johnny a ringer, there was no disrespect intended.
But my offer still stands if you want a review by a hobbyists. (Hobbyists probably spend more money on gear than others. ;-) )

If I had a new guitar design to market, I sure as heck would not get some amateur to demo it. Amps will only reproduce what they are given, some do it better than others. That amp sounds good for classic harp tone and is designed by a proven professional in the field. It is sized to fit the majority of the market. It is not intended to be a "Do All" for preforming musicians, no amp is.

Congratulations Randy and Nate on another job well done. Good luck with your new product and thanks for your efforts...Goose

@eharp -- Having a TRULY good player or big name professional, like it or not, is a FAR superior marketing tool than a Joe Average or lesser player and quite frankly, regardless of whatever instrument it happens to be, who in their right mind is gonna be paying one bit attention to a Joe Average demonstrating any product when compared to having a truly great player demonstrating it. Your idea makes absolutely ZERO marketing sense and you're maybe part of the less than 1% who feel that way. Look at it this way, how many people ask about what gear Little Walter used are you gonna have when compared to some hack in an most open jam sessions??? Think about it!!!

From the video, there definitely is more bottom end happening here than with most smaller amps. Having a 10 inch speaker makes more sense on a gig because from my long experience, unless you're doing a recording session in a studio, which is a HIGHLY controlled environment, 8 inch speakers regardless of the volume (unless you've got a Quilter Micro Pro 8) no matter what the amp volume is just doesn't cut thru the mix because of the lack of bottom end alone and the very first Sonny Jr. amps which had 6-8's in them even got swallowed up on a very low volume gig.

Actually, it's a no brainer get the usual suspects to demo it, Adam, Jason and Ronnie Shellist they are always posting on Youtube and appearing at events plus everyone is pretty familiar with their playing ... that's what I would do if it was my product and any of the other cat's like Kim, Hummel you get my drift!

that's a great idea I will accept a free amp for that advice..ta.

Mind there's nowt wrong with Johnny Sansone!!!

@eharp -- Sarcasm comes of great when you're talking to someone person to person, but written on any sort of forum n the internet without seeing a smiley, it never comes off well. To indicate it was a joke, you should put lol in parentheses.

Jokes aside, I think I recall that RD first demoed the MM here with a video of his own playing, and AG no less called him to get a clip of Nic playing it so that we could hear what it was capable of.
Anyway, I'm sure this is a great amp. I've got too many already; maybe if I sell some.
