I can dig it. Folks really short change themselves on a huge understanding of music when the choose to fear "music theory". Understanding modes will unlock a huge pallet of sonic goodies. It's not difficult to understand at all, provided you start with the basics. And, the harmonica, with it's single major scale layout, is such a great modal machine.

Great video.
Many great harmonica players are multi-instrumentalists who started on keyboard and hence have a more in-depth understanding.

Jinx is correct.

It is great that folks can get into making music using the 4 draw bend and wail, but there is so much more out there and it really isn't that hard to get to the next level.

Michael Rubin and Sandy Weltman cover a lot of this in their instruction.
