We recorded an EP mainly as a business card to hand out to bar managers and sell a few on the streets. Investment Buskers featuring vocalist from Bronze Wailers.

I like it!

Having a cd to sell on the streets is a smart move. Whit my street band we make 90% of the money whit the cds.

This is a nice recording. I like the sound of the guitar a lot. Good harp playing.

Some comments on the production: I don't feel like the vocals are sitting easily in the mix. You could slap some reverb on to ease them in a little bit. Also, to my ears, everything in the song is coming down the middle a bit too much -- you could pan this out a little bit and make it sound a bit fuller. Maybe some widening/eq in the mastering stage as well.

It is a very good recording though -- really nice sound.

Nice sound, but good suggestions from tf10music on how to make it even better in the mixing stage. I usually pan the harp 30% one way and the guitar 30% the other, vocal down the middle. (I start to get in trouble when there are more instruments in the mix though).

@rogonzab. Yeah, we have made a bit. I only hope to cover my costs. A radio announcer I met yesterday said she likes having physical CDs. I also learned that they also like a track listing with song lengths on a separate piece of paper!

@f10. I am a total N00B when it comes to recording. Thanks for the tips.

@nate. I let the guy who recorded it do all the mixing. We were going to play at a festival so I wanted to get something out the door quickly. Next time I will have a better idea what to do.

@David. Cheers mate!
