Finally got to upload a couple of new ones on my YT channel. I've been working on my chrom playing this past year. Getting more comfortable with it. This is "Angus Dei" in Dm. Played on a Hohner 270 Chromonica in A. Your comments and constructive criticisms are welcome.

Thanks for sharing this, that was pretty nice.

I've actually bought myself several cheap 270s from ebay, but could never get that kind of tone. My excuse is they were all old and out of tune... :)

At first I thought that clicking noise was a clunky slide mechanism (!), then I figured it was maybe a metronome. At any rate, it did detract from your performance somewhat.

I would also suggest that you don't play amplified unless you need to, as the mic might pick up small errors and breathiness more than your camera would.

Overall, I enjoyed the piece - I hope I can play that well some day.

Thanks. The clicking was a make shift shaker I made that I strap to my foot. I don't always use it for the reason you mentioned. I've been back and forth on weather or not to use it at all. I did this one amped because I was playing around with some effects. In the live version by Michael W. Smith he had a violinist playing the intro and melody lines throughout. That's kind of what I was trying to achieve. I had my delay on 3 and chorus about all the way up. Maybe I should cut it back a bit. Thanks again.
