The rhythm track for this new tune was cut from one continuous loop based improvisation by the great Andre LaFosse---a true musical maverick! Let me know what you think!

Excellent! (the tune, not the video) Tell us more about the process. Is it all you - or a group playing over the loop (s) Who cut the loops and how did you incorporate them? This was done in studio with overdubbing and editing I imagine. Do you do it live too?

re. the video - the music deserves a better video. Stills of the echoplex and pedal board etc. are a distraction from the music IMO.

Crisco Sid - love it. What are you using the grease for? Never mind, - I don't want to know.

Bonedog...This is a track created entirely by my duo, the Sheriffs of Schroedingham, and a special guest, Andre LaFosse. Andre basically improvised a few minutes of music with his Echoplex, which I then performed some surgery on and created a basic groove-based bed track from (think rhythm section). From there, John Schroeder and I completed the writing process with various melodies and textures on top of the architecture I had created out of Andre's masterful loops. Hope that offers some insight! Thanks for listening!

Ross

I love Andre's playing, and I like what you've done with it here!
Is that his electric guitar playing in the last minute or so?
