Sounds Badass, looks like a perfectly good sports coat gave it's life to cover it :)

As Walter Brennan used to say "no Brag just fact". Tone monster indeed. Nice job and nice blowin by your pal. How loud do you have to go to get that tone?

Grid leak bias? Paraphase inverter? Cathode or fixed bias? Low voltage on plates?
Sounds like the power of fixed bias but maybe older style pre & phase inverter? Beefy OT? Nice speaker selection. I was thinkin of building something like that anyway. Early tweed / Gibson GA 6 or 20 up front - bassman or blackface power section on out.

Do you post your schematics?

The electronic circuit is a mix between a Bassman and a Meteor.
Longtalil PI and fixed Bias 35mA at 438 V on plates= a little cold.
105 Volts on plates V1, V2 and 200V on PI
The tube choice is totally different from other amps. The octal preamp tubes give a bigger sound.
And Joakim use a healthy JT30 with a 127 ceramic. He have a acoustic tone you could die for.

Thanks Arne - of course a good player through a hot mic. Makes a BIG difference. But you obviously did more than a few things right with the amp.

Excellent. Sure don't hurt to have Joakim's technique too. Love to have your thoughts on my Concert/speaker post. I think Mark B. said you might have some experience with the Warehouse 10"s.

Thank you bonedog. I am very proud of this amp. It is the result of the last years hard searching for the ultimate stage amp.
