can i post straight from computor have that embed code deal but
--do i drag n drop where it says 'any sound file? do I paste and copy there? or do i drag in dropat end of embed code ?-- its on my computor not a web site----I put in drop box ----confused thanks---note mispelled computer

If you are talking about an MP3, you should post in on a site like souncloud and use the embed code they provide.

Soundcloud doesn't really allow uploading of music that is not your original stuff.
Sometimes I'll want to upload off my computer direct - for instance - a CD track - and be able to share it on MBH.
Is possible?

Okay, depending on when you got your dropbox account you may or may not be able to use it. In dropbox there is a 'public' folder (or should be) that lets you share files. Put the file you are trying to post in there. Then, right click the file, and you will see a bunch of options, including one, hopefully, that says, "Copy public link" select that, and, for starters, post it. Once we see that you have the right code we can show you how to set it up to play.
Another alternative, most computers, both mac and pc, have access to software to edit video, which includes the option to include audio. Take a picture and attach the audio to that and post it to YouTube.

I got dropbox a couple of years back and am able to post sound files on MBH.

what happened ---I was handsome when I was younger-I look like Keith Richards in video-maybe not that bad---I updated all my passwords-facevook you tube google--and its quicker now---gonna try 'public domain vs private in dropbox -thanks nacoran---thanks all of u

If you already have a Google/Youtube account, the absolute easiest solution is to use your Google Drive space to store the file. You can easily share it from there via a URL.
