I've got some Seydels and Hohners that need reed replacement and a retuning&cleaning. Who can take care of what brand nowadays?

I'm around. I have 18 harps leaving my workbench this weekend.

I offer two levels of service ($16.50 and $30) and that comes with a custom comb (depending on the make and model) and one reed replacement per harp included in the price. $10 for any extra reeds replaced. I work on Hohner, Seydel, Suzuki, and Lee Oskar harps.

I'm battling a 6 month waiting list at the moment for Advanced service. Contact me if you want to get added to the list.

If you're in the UK, Sugar Caine will work on most anything, including chromatics.

I'll repair hohner diatonics in Australia. Reed replacement and tuning at the moment. I'll convert nailed marine bands to screwed-together assembly, fit custom combs also.

I just got a couple of my old SP20's back from MP (who is on this list) and they play wonderfully now. The bends are nice and strong. The tuning sounds right on with split octaves sounding full up and down the track. He opened up the backs so they project a bit more and sound a bit richer acoustically. (played a little bit in one of Central Parks many arches and in the subway last weekend). Very reasonable price and in my case a pretty quick turnaround. Give him a shout.
Once again thanks MP.........Johnny

I'm still around. I've been quiet for a while due to moving, setting up a new shop area and spending as much time as I could with an old dog who has now taken his leave.

I can be reached through the contact information in my profile.
