On Sonic Junction (Portnoy's teaching format), Rick was a guest teacher. He broke this tune down into sections in order to teach students exactly what is going on.

Rick is actually a pretty good teacher in explaining all the notes/nuances/grooves going on here.

Highly Recommended.

So nice to hear Rick in a duo where all his subtle nuances are perceptible. Worth lots of repeat listens.

On Rick's instructional DVD, Rusty did all the guitar backup.

And Rusty is a great frontman / performer in his own right too...He did a couple sets one year when he was touring with Little Charlie and the Night Cats, and he was excellent!
