Original gangster blues song in key of Eb. Classic Chromatic harmonica work by Little Walter on a C Chrom in the key of Eb. Tenth position but usually called "third with the button held in" :)
Vocals by my twin brother Jeff. Recorded through Shure SM57 and a focusrite Scarlett 2i4.
Harmonica recorded through Peavey ampkitLink and my Iphone; Ampkit.
Backing track by Shoji at http://www.bluesharptracks.com/
There have been a lot of people not liking "Backing tracks karaoke" in other threads. That's fine.
Comments welcome.
Ps. It's not really Jeff singing. I cloned myself. Feel free to comment the singing, too, but please remember that it is not my main instrument... ---------- Pistolkatt - Pistolkatts youtube

You misspelled Peavey. I note that because I use that little tidbit often when surfing Craigslist looking for $100 410 tube amps. I don't feel qualified to critique any aspect of the talent. I find it very interesting, the innovative ways different folks find to achieve the Little Walter sound. I also appreciate the research you've put into that LW track. I'm gonna steal something.

Thanks for listening, TH. I edited my OP so that the spelling is correct.
The playing is Walter-like but I had a hard time picking out what he plays here. I got a feeling that it varies somewhat so it was a approximation and trying to go with the feel more than all the notes. The solo is just noodeling but I get a distinct feeling that so was Walter's. Very basic and dirty. Which fits the song.
I tried googeling and searched YT for lessons and tabs but they all used a diatonic harp in second position... Maybe that's the Red Devils' version. ---------- Pistolkatt - Pistolkatts youtube

Hi, Pistolcat! Good on you for posting this. Kudos for tackling both the chromatic and the singing. I’m not in a position to critique either, but I liked what you are doing.
Cheers!

Thanks for listening fellows! As members on this premium forum I think you are all in a position to critique. But some folks here are gentler gentlemen than others :D. Maybe the Iceman will chip in and lay on the brutal truth ;).
Ps. Please excuse the excess use of emoticons. I wanted to be sure that the post was read in the flippant way I wrote it. Irony is hard in writing... ---------- Pistolkatt - Pistolkatts youtube
