I've seen it too many times across the net today to believe that this could be a potential Andy Kaufmann situation. I'm somewhat devastated by this. I have to say, I admired the guy, and his rapid firing neurons. Can you imagine if he'd been a harp player with that brain? The improvisation on solos would've been endless. I give you the late great Robin Williams, performing the only lick of blues I've ever seen him do...

How sad that someone who brought such joy to the rest of us could not be happy in his own life. And, sincere condolences to all those he left behind to wonder, for a lifetime, what more they might have done to help him exorcise the demons that kept him from being happy.

As far as he's concerned, he's in a better place now. It must be awful to not be able to see a better way forward.

Yeah, Inside the Actor's Studio is a great show.
A news channel was doing a long interview with James Lipton on the day after Robin's exit--James was devastated.
All things must pass--and Robin had a great run. We will remember you . . .
