The 1st WV Blues Harmonica Jam will be held Saturday August 23rd in Huntington, WV from 2 pm to 4 pm at the Harris River Front Park. It is part of the 5th Diamond Teeth Mary Blues and Art Festival. The jam is open to all harp players of any skill level. Every jammer will play a 24 bar solo. The jam is hosted by The Harmonica Club of Huntington, WV.

4:00 to 4:45 Gary Applegate
4:45 to 5:30 Mojo Bones

7:15 to 8:00 The Diablo Blues Band
8:30 to 9:15 Ray Fuller and the Blues Rockers
10:15 to 11pm Tee Dee Young

Jim: isn't Ray Fuller from Columbus, Ohio? Hope you have fun, sorry I can't make it. I'll be blowin the blues 120' underwater in the Fla. Keys. Hope the sharks like my playin, or I'll really be blowin the blues!!!

Ray may be from Columbus, I do not know. A local bluesman by the name of Chris Sutton did the bookings, but I would not be surprised if they are from Columbus. The recent focus has been to bring in regional and local acts as opposed to national acts.

Yes KC, Ray is from Columbus, you may have met him at one of the Columbus Blues Harp Clinics. Did I mention that the next one is October 11th?
