Wow!
Never heard of her, but what a great voice. The two guitar pickers did a nice job also.

Very nice indeed.
The vocal line of this song lays out very, very easily on harp in second position and is a dream to play. Whenever I back a singer on this song I always play under the vocals mirroring/harmonising with what they are doing. They all seem to like that a lot. Even if the for the first few bars it unnerves them the first time they hear me do it.

That's interesting. madcat plays it in 12th I think, and says he does so because it enables him to play without overbends.
As to the video...I like it a lot, apart from the first 'millionaire'.

I've been trying this recently, F harp in C. I'm finding it tricky at my level, mainly hitting the D note cleanly.
Kingley - any tips appreciated. Do you play it in C?

Christelle does a wonderful version, very expressive playing, especially for 1st position

GamblersHand - Sorry maybe I should have been a bit clearer. When I say the vocal line lays out very, very easily in second position and is a dream to play. I don't mean playing the vocal line note for note. I mean an interpretation of it. If you play that just under the vocals, there are lots of areas where it harmonises with the vocals and other places where it just complements them. Most of the singers I know sing it in C. So yes I use an F harp in second position. When I play it, I tend to play all the way through non stop and try to match the vocals as closely as I can. Where there are gaps in the vocals I'll increase my air pressure a touch and raise up with a bit of something which is kind of half call and response and half fill. If that makes any sense? I'll see if there's any recording knocking around, as listening to it, might explain it better than I can in words.

Jawbone and Jolene's humble submission. She's in G and I do 3rd on Low F.

Kingly - hope you can find it, I'm certainly interested

I really struggle trying to mimic, for example, that opening line. The last note of "millionaire" is the 3 draw full-tone bend. One to woodshed for sure.
