This is a promotional message. I've been working hard to keep them at a minimum - but this is also something of a public service announcement so I hope it is OK with "the management."

I've been busting my butt trying to keep up with customer orders while getting ready for SPAH. If you're going to SPAH, I hope you'll come and see and try these mics in person - as the pics don't do them justice. All mics except the clear one will be available for sale, and, because I have a 5 month backlog on custom ordered mics - present a rare opportunity to get a BLowsMeAway wood mic without waiting. AND they'll be 10% off at the show. If you're NOT going to SPAH, feel free to contact me afterward as the ones I don't sell will be available them first come first served. From past experience they won't stick around long.

The mics have a range of vintage Shure elements, and I'm introducing "The Heumann Element" - a project I've been working on and refining for quote a while. That's right - a new element that kicks serious ass. And the only way to get one is in one of my mics!

Oh, and the clear one isn't for sale.

Clockwise from top: Red metal flake, Spalted Tamarind with Gabon Ebony, "Blue Sunset" multi-laminate, Cocobolo, Redheart, Burl Maple with brass dust inlay, clear acrylic, Acid Trip

Grill designs Left to right:
Turner, Tripoly, Waves, Starburst, Weave, Eighth Note, Lightning

Of course I will be bringing Ultimate mics, volume controls, cables, adapters with me as well. Hope to see you there!

Greg, This is just as much a promotional message for the SPAH convention as it is for BlowsMeAway.
Going down that little hallway could get very expensive.

Greg, the top mic is red metal flake? Is that wood or metal? Can!t tell from the photo if it has as stealth volume control?

@Littoral

The Heumann Element is something I've come up with - starting with a current production vocal mic element, that I've made both mechanical and electrical mods to. It fits in a bullet shell (although a custom gasket is required) and it sound GREAT. It has great tone and BIG bottom end. The rest? For now it is a secret. But if ANYONE is coming to SPAH who knows mics I would like to get your opinions on it.

@Smoke - the red metal flake IS over a wood shell. That particular mic doesn't have a stealth VC as it was my first attempt at this finish and I didn't want to spend a lot of time on the shell before trying it - but it came out great.

I have a very hard time getting a photo that shows the finish well, but this one is better...

Today I'm looking at 15 Ultimate mics I've completed that I will ALSO be bringing...

Greg: I'll be at SPAH (some of the time) and am intrigued by your new offering...will there be an opportunity to try out the new Heumann Element through an amp?

@harpoon-man - I have a demo rig set up at my booth which uses an amp sim through headphones as we aren't allowed to use amps on the show floor. However there is an amp demo room as well - and I will make arrangements for people to try the Heumann element ....
