I am starting to get excited about attending SPAH again this year in St. Louis, Tuesday until Sunday. Each time I have attended a convention (2008, 2010, & 2013)I am amazed by the many different ways harmonica can be played, excited by performances, jams, and workshops, and humbled by some of the awesome playing I hear.

I get minimal sleep, eat light meals (mainly from a cooler), grab a nap when I can, and I am still always suffering from sleep deprivation by the end. I love it.

Who is going to SPAH this year?

Glad you could find accommodation, Diggs.

What we learn from registration this year may give us data to better size our room commitments from the hotel going forward.

Looking forward to SPAH 51.
Will be there in the Seydel vendor booth.

Great players will be there this year and performing...among them PT, Sandy Weltman, Rob Roy, Jimi Lee.. Pat Bergeson will be backing up PT on guitar which will be fantastic and bunches more..

Thank you Winslow & the team for all your work and especially thank you to the St. Louis club for stepping up again this year..

A lot goes into the location decisions and there is simply no way to keep it inexpensive and find the right hotel layout and a local club to support, and location that is accessible. You guys do a bang up job.. and I doubt any could do much better.. Sold out rooms means projected attendance is up and that says it all right there!

THX!

I will be there - look me up in the vendor area. I'll have a lot of mics for sale - and I'm introducing "The Heumann Element" - a bullet mic element that sounds GREAT.

I will be there, working at the Suzuki booth, and demonstrating the cool new compact chord harp--I am doing a seminar on it too.
Ever miss the third chord on a blues harp? This instrument will enable you to play it on the fly!
