You got the skills but I feel your timing didn't quite match the groove?

Yeah man - it was ugly, I agree it just don't sound and feel right in a lot of spots. I usually don't play a hard swingin tune in 2nd pos and that's what came out -it's a strange one for sure and never really grooves like you said - of course I played way to many notes and not enough repetition, back to the drawing board :)

Here is the same hard drivin swing in 3rd on chrome it goes together a little better, but I must say this is one of Jimi's most challenging tunes he has, for me anyway? Again to many notes, loosing the groove, lack of repetition and symmetrical phrasing - good grief :)

Maybe if I got up off my lazy ass - I'd be able to catch that groove better?
