What the subject says. We have sixteen new backing tracks at harmonicaboogie.com with more to come throughout the jam. Download them, play to one you like, post the results on The Main Stage, and let everyone enjoy. We do blues, jazz, country, Celtic, gospel and more.

I think I follow the concept of the site but I'm not certain about the backing tracks. Are they organized by key or genre?

I enjoyed harmonicaboogie a few years ago when there was a solo section where folks played completely solo, no backing tracks, just the harmonica.

Brothers in arms - run, don't walk over to the jam and get your inner boogie on, you can thank me later :)

They are beautiful tracks; Beelebob makes the highest quality tracks and always featuring fresh ideas and tight changes to keep the harp player on his toes. My thanks for an amazing job, well done!

I've spent some time nosing around the site. The BeelzeBob backing tracks are very well done, and given the range of instrumentation and the quality of the playing, I'd like to hear more about how he gets it done. But there's only a limited number of backing tracks that I'm finding accessible at this time.
BeelzeBob or Frank, do you know if there are other tracks available on that site?

Sarge, you can still do a solo track, that hasn't changed. Smoke, I make the backing tracks mostly with Band in a Box, but sometimes use loops or play guitar. They are listed by upload date but include key, genre and tempo information. Frank and Ted, thanks for the kind words, appreciate it!! As Frank says, more backing tracks appear, and anyone can upload them at any time. And it's all thanks to Rick Beall who runs the site!
