Way to many notes - fuck it :)

Nice stuff. Very fluid and in-groove. I really like the use of blow 1. One of the most underused notes of the blues/major/minor scale in second position.

Not too many at all, I think, but rather nicely placed notes.

Some pretty interesting ideas and original lines.

I might suggest, over the IV chord, to lower that 3 hole inhale to it's first bend. Would bump up the coolness factor by 2 points.

You need to get a band and play out.

You are ready for a band. I agree with Iceman (except for it's; he means its). Ready for a band? Easy to say, hard to do.

Talking about blues harp, showing your playing abilities on video, all of that, does not beat playing on stage with a sympathetic (as in, we get blues) band-- the greatest experience of all, for blues musicians. I hope you find yourself in that place one day, because you deserve it.

Cheers,

I like "hard to say, easy to do" - it better corresponds with my lifestyle at the time being...the spring chicken days have passed me by and I need to pick and choose where I deposit my energies :)

Thank you all for your help and encouragement but to be honest, I am ready for bed by 9pm and in bed by 10pm!

I agree with Wolf. The greatest thing is to be very much in the slot, groove, pocket ( whatever you want to call it ) with the band and everything is working. That there is almost like a drug. Expansion. That there is worth all the BS and hard work of being in or playing with a band. Sometimes it doesnt work or gel so well and it is still worth it.

Right now I am not in a band. On thing I do is to jam and or sit in with bands that I know. That beats the thrown together jam where it is always a crap shoot.

You play nice Frank. My only comment would be to add more
of a Butterfield or Jason style to be more updated if you want to go into the Modern blues world. Connection of lines and singing notes in places.Maybe something like this.

Is Butterfield playing the harp upside down?
Didn't know he played that way?
