What musician/s do you consider to be "cool" ?

What makes a musician "cool" ?

Are you "cool" ?

Are people born "cool" ?

Can someone be taught to be "cool" ?

What's the secret to being a "cool" harp player ?

Sorta like trying to pick up a pencil to write something...Is really necessary to expend that energy trying?

I sort of asked that question in the coolest harmonica solos question, and the answers were all over the place.. some thought cool was fast with lots of notes, others slow blues, it really was a matter of definition.

When I was in 5th grade, the middle school kid with the really long bangs that flipped them over and combed them all the time was cool.. he had long hair even though hair touching the collar or the ears was not allowed in school. It is a matter of perception and a moving target

Of course the "Chairman of the Board" Frank Sinatra sets the standard. I think it helps a little if you have some Italian in your blood.LOL Here are two cool cats.

Ya know, you can only be cool for so long before dealing with the uncool starts to wear you down. I was born cool, but I fear my inner curmudgeon is starting to take over. Maybe if I was ever really cool to begin with, it would not make any difference.

Can I get an easier question?

I thought I was cool, that is until 1986 when series 6 garbage pail kids were released.

that could have been the guy a few years later.. imagine that hair, with the back cut and ears cut above the collar and ears... but the bangs just as long.

oh yeah, Denver public schools did not allow bell bottoms (hippie pants) back then either, so it would have been straight legged jeans.

Miles Davis.... he was at the birth of cool....

I think coolness comes from an understated and laid back confidence born of self knowledge and an awareness of where you're from, where you're going and where you are. As such, you're not really born with it, but develop it as you grow as a person.
