I had checked this amp out a year and a half ago at a guy's vintage shop, and Tuesday we went in and decided we could justify getting it "as a spare". Sounds equally great for guitar and harp, and Jolene fell in love with it too. Looked on fleabay and WOW! Pricey and in demand!
This one we got is not great cosmetically but the guts are all very much there.
At 5 watts it's no concert hall rig but we know it'll work very well for recording and for small venues like coffee houses etc.
We have matching Silvertone 1482's which we like a lot and have used for years, but if I could find an affordable working Vibro Champ I'd be tempted to get a second one.

Possible cash/trade situation.

I've played through quite a few Vibro Champs and the one I'm lucky to have is the best sound I've ever heard. Seriously. Warm, round, punch, perfect sag great EQ. Better sound than my 57 or 59 tweed Champs -or even my 60 Concert.

Bone, what's your limit on price and are you wanting a blackface or a silverface to match the one you have?

Hawk- Appearance not an issue if it works well. Possibly I could swap a mic or two to defray cost.
Why not throw me an email at the above addy?

Blackface a little more collectable because most ( not all) are pre CBS takeover-so the snob thing kicks in.

Great amps either way

I have two Broncos. (VC) Great small amps. Both have Weber ceramic 8's in them. Run those thru a stereo delay. You can also run the trems out of sync for this really cool sound <)))))
