Okay, so after having ordered 5 Marine Bands from Rockin Ron's and a case (which was generously included, might I add), I have to say that Ron knows how to run a business. The purchase was painless, I even got to talk to Ron himself, and I couldn't be more satisfied with what I got. Would highly recommend him and wanted to thank Ron and everyone who recommended his store.

I doubt it would work well because the rivet and rivet heads are gonna be way different. ---------- Sincerely, Barbeque Bob Maglinte Boston, MA http://www.barbequebob.com CD available at http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/bbmaglinte

Hey Bob, Thanks for commenting. This isn't my first rodeo. :) I tried and tested it on all versions and it works.
The receiver hole has been bored out to accommodate the slightly larger rivet heads used by LO.
I developed this model because customers were buying my Seydel tool and using them on non-Seydel harps. When the rivet would pop out, the geniuses were squeezing harder and breaking them.. (Go figure)
The model Rockin Ron has works on all models and is extremely heavy duty.

I've been using the seydel pliers on hohners for well over a year, no problem. Adjusted to leave the rivet in the reed, it's a neat tool.

I should say, I've been using on marine band types.

RR gave me fine service also.
To clear this up, will RR's tool work on most types of reedplates? Could you folks compile a list of all harps Ron's tool will work on? thanks ...Goose
