I have loved the blues since I was 12 – John Lee Hooker’s “Blues Before Sunrise” cassette skewed my world forever. I’m a bluesman by night, but to (barely) pay the bills I’m a Film and Literature Professor by day. That said, I’m addicted into information and creative expression. I came across the following new work from David Lynch; filmmaker, artist, and all-around creative genius.
Lynch describes his new music album, “The Big Dream," as “a hybrid, modernized form of low-down blues. The blues is an honest and emotional form of music that is thrilling to the soul. I keep coming back to it because it feels so good."
As a follow-up to my “future of The Blues” post, I thought I’d share this new bit of music.

(of course, my embedding skills are laughable. Please do feel free to help a brother out…)
Thanks all, Heath
