Another local Cleveland harmonica player that worked with Robert is Mr. Downchild.

Mr. Down Child was one of the first excellent musician/harmonica players I saw in Cleveland - he is a consummate professional, you will be impressed!

Another local who was cool and I enjoyed seeing was "Mr. Stress" the name sez it all :)

One of the best I have ever seen on diatonic and chromatic, in Cleveland again -is Dave Morrison...

Colin Dussault had a cool show too :)

ah yes, Dave Morrison...Aces and Eights.

If you were a Cleveland boy Frank, here is a question for you...

"What color socks do you wear if you live in Parma?"

Robert jr hired Wallace because he liked the way he played the changes....apparently many did not and that did not set well with robert

I asked Robert Jr. in the 70's about how he liked playing behind harp players and he told me that he largely hated playing behind most harp players and his straight to the point answer was, and I quote, "their time sucks!!!" I can understand why he said that because far too often, that's the cold, hard, brutal truth about a lot of harp players (tho most of that is for those who aren't pros), and many harp players never learn theory and so often, once they get taken out of 1-4-5 changes, it's like they become a deer in the headlights.
