I couple of years ago, when I decided to tear into my harps, I was fortunate to still be able to get stuff from Hetrick. 2 items have been particularly useful. One was the generous amount of stainless steel shim stock he sent me for a pittance and the other was the tuning cap.
As I try to bring my harmonica playing compadres into the light, and increase world wide reed plate sales, does anyone know where can I send them for one of those Hetrick tuning caps? Those things are the cat's meow.

The French Tuner is 200 per cent larger than the tuning cap! :) It's used to tune octaves on the blow reed, but you can use it for single notes, too.
I have a few left made out of Plex at a lower cost.
See the For Sale 2014 for more details. ----------

Oooo! I like it. Does it work on Lee Oskars and other long read harps?

Oh, that seems quite interesting and more than that, a time saving tool.
I too might order one later then.

@Mahcks - Excellent. Being new to this tweak game I would like an airtight adapter which fits into the hole of a harp [covers off only] that would allow you to punch a note without adjusting for reeds that flap in your mustache.

Andrew's French Tuner is an excellent tool and saves me a lot of time when tuning.
