You can now download the schedule for the Spring 2014 Harmonica Collective at this direct link:

http://harmonicacollective.com/Hca_Collective_2014_Spring_Program.pdf

It's not directly linked from the website yet, but I wanted to give an early heads-up to folks who wanted to see what's going on each day before deciding to attend.

I wish I could make it, but I'm busted. Maybe next time you can bring Konstantin? I don't think I could pass that up.

Konstantin Reinfeld is a great player and a nice kid. However, he'd be expensive to fly over from Germany, not to mention the problems with immigration and the IRS that foreign professional players are subject to.

Should be no problem w/immigration and IRS. Konstantin could be a tourist. Pay him in cash for his services.

btw, nicely done schedule of events.

It's not that easy, Larry. Even if performing for no fee, a foreign professional needs an expensive visa. If US immigration looks on the web and finds they have an advertised performance -paid or not- and no visa, they get sent home. If we pay them we have to withhold for the IRS, and that will alert them that there wasn't a visa.

Jason has also lined up a backing trio for the Friday night jam. He has pretty good connections here in Indiana.

There's still time to sign up (though the special hotel rate has expired by now).

Sooooooo...

It is over now, and people have had a little time to recover.

Would some participants post some information about how it went this year?

I wish I had been able to make it this year.

Thanks for the videos, Moon Cat!

It looks as though it was a fun, educational event, with a many great moments as was the 2013 HC. I look forward to HC participants posting about their experiences. I hope the event was financially successful and that there will be future Harmonica Collective gatherings.

We're in the black (though not by a whopping margin) and yes, there will be future gatherings of the Harmonica Collective!
