"hows everybody doing?"

Ricci's still clean.
Well made brass combs are like unicorns that fart pixie dust, apparently.
Some locked threads.

You know, the usual.

Buz, they burp pixie dust. They fart dragon tears. :)

(If you put one in a sock and swing it like a madman, however, no club owner will stiff you on your gig pay.)

I once looked into pricing for a piece of Alon- it's the new material, real life transparent aluminum, that is used in high end bullet resistant glass. It will stop the dreaded 50 caliber round. Unfortunately, a piece the right size for a harp comb will run you $200 though, so brass is still king for self defense. :)

Edit: That said, I very much would love to have a set. My aluminum comb is great to play on. Something about the heft- it seems to give me better control sliding up and down my lips, although maybe it's just a placebo effect.
