Frank you found another monster player,flying under the radar.Seems like he is from Barcelona Spain.Big guy,low voice,great stage presence.Superb player,wicked tone,real frontman.Trios make a buck or two,making ends meet in this economy,their band certainly doesn't miss a bass player.
Saw Kim wilson last night,his two young lead guitar players,compliment one another,trading fantastic solos back and forth.Soundman had the bass player set wrong,dam thing was moaning and buzzing,when he finally turned him down he got lost in the mix.Not dissing bass guys,although more and more they are trying to be harp players.
This Blas guy got it going on.

Is'nt that a cool presentation of that tune, they really do it justice, a very enjoyable performance...how about those stage outfits :)

Talk about "wail on" these dudes are on top of it and she ain't gettin away any time soon ...

Yup, it's infectious and you want it to keep going...5 minutes or 20 minutes don't stop! It's pure, no one cares if it's modern, retro or a museum reincarnation, if it's level advanced overblow tounge licker technical masterbation....it don't matter. It's music.
