I just bought a used one that didn't come with the footswitch. Do you use yours? Do you use the pull boost and do you play through the hi or low input?
Thank you very much,
Hondo

Never use the footswitch on mine as i use a mic with a volume control.
I always play through the high and tweak the controls to suit.

I use LO input, pull boost allways off...
you have stock tubes? If you have, swap tubes for JJ 6v6 and sovtek 5751, you will be suprised... ;)

Rarko is correct! That is the way I set up my VHT amp.

The "pull boost" is not really a boost... it just cuts out the tone stack. Your tone controls no longer work. With the VHT you are going to want to roll off the highs and boost the bass a bit.

Yeah, I forgot to say, everything I did on that amp and the way I am using it, it's Ricks advice! So, again, thanks Rick ;)
hey, Rick, with your bullet 440SL, how long can you turn up your volume knob (without loud feedback)?

In which amp? I usually have the volume on the 440SL all the way up and the amp adjusted for just before feedback. I turn the mic down if it starts to howl.

Sorry, Rarko, I donated the VHT amp to a charity auction about three years ago, long before I got the 440SL bullet mic. I don't know the answer.
