Using my reverb tank on the amp turned up high...sounds okay for harp, drowns out the vocals though :)

That's what spring reverbs does to any instrument regardless of what it may be and so here's where knowing how to play quieter comes in. With guitars, if you have a really stinging, trebly sound, it heavily intensifies this and a 15 watt amp on 4 will sound like it's on 10 in terms of volume.

No doubt Bob...when I can zone into playing softer, "which I'm learning how to do a little better year after year" (less force)just a natural as possible breathe, I can hear the difference in overtones and how they sound and come through much better, particularly when certain techniques are used...And - to get LW sound, I really have to seriously concentrate on breathing the music softly naturally - his playing is so relaxed and tensionless :)

LOL! Frank, I like it a lot! Nice playing. Yeah, that is WAY too much reverb for my taste, but cool anyway.

The only thing I could think of while watching this video was waiting for that dude from A-ha to bust through your living room and give you a cheesy grin al la "Take on Me" video from the 80's group.

Nice rendition Frank, you got that little walter swagger, and solid chops gliding smoothly.Fun messing with the reverb, which can be wonderful with a ace soundman through the pa.You did it your way good.

Just an aside, carey bells version of blues with a feeling, solid chicago style cover of this song hammers tone, groove, and mastery of his vibrato, mixed with a little reverb dam just keeps ya hanging on every line. That Casper the Ghost lick he does, well, well, well.Easy to look up on youtube.
