A popular Aussie saying is:-

"A few stubbies short of a six-pack". "A few sandwiches short of a picnic".

Explanation
whilst now a six-pack has evolved to mean anyone with fit abdomens, it is also a six-pack of beers. If one is perceived as being a little slow or quite dumb -- they’re a few stubbies short of a six-pack. They’re not the “full quid.”(money Quid = 1 Aussie Pound). For those who don’t speak about money or alcohol, they’re said to be “a few sandwiches short of a picnic.”

Some people say music, that’s their ace in the hole
Just your ordinary rhythm and blues
Your basic rock and roll

You can sit on the top of the beat
You can lean on the side of the beat
You can hang from the bottom of the beat
But you got to admit that the music is sweet

If you hit a wrong note, it’s the next note that you play that determines if it’s good or bad.
