Hey Guys, I'm wondering how much to spend on a Bassman with no mods...What's a reasonable price and how much will I have to spend to mod it for harp?.

Thanks,
Tom

USA?
I hear $600-$800 is achievable.
Mods? Depends. Preamp tubes, you may want a couple 12ay7s, 5751s, 12au7s, to experiment with. That can add up
A couple of resistors you may want to replace if you put 12au7 tubes in the preamp. DIY cheap, otherwise probably a minimum rate to pay.
Speakers if you want to go there can get expensive. But you don't have to go mad on it, or go there at all.
I'd probably allow $800 plus a 12ay7 for starters.
