Anybody out there in harp land know what the great William Clarke used for his rig, i.e. amp & mic & effects. I think he used a Bassman but thats all.

Like many players though he changed mics from time to time. He also used a few different amps, but his main rig for much of his career seems to have been a Bassman with a JT30 mic and a Boss DM-2 delay pedal.

stock jt 30 into a dd3
or sometimes a vintage echoplex
fender concert or a bassman
a very simple rig

Jeanette said no-it held too many good memories for here-but that was a while ago. I think Joe Lodovici is gigging with it though.

So glad that this amp still is being used and sounds absolutely great. I promised Bill I would not give this to "Shitty" harp player. Or a Blues Museum... Kept my promise. It's kinda tore up, but it sure went to alot of places, even overseas. The story behind the "Blue" cover is, Bill got tired of people asking him if it was a re-issue...This way I think they knew that it was the real deal. (in his mind anyway).I gave the amp to Willie my son, but Joe bought it from him. I am so happy about that, because everything else that my son had is gone. The amp would have been gone too.I think around a '59 or early 60's. Not really sure. Dennis Gruenling or Michael Reid would probably know..They played though it. The guys that Bill bought it from had 2 of them Hook Herrera go the other one.
