Thanks, Mooncat. That was cool lesson. liked the bit about playing the octave. I always find it hard to play the pentatonic and not throw in the flat 5.I only listen to Sonny Terry lately though.

Sonny! Man ! Thats why I wont teach the blues scale!!! Cause alot of got that in us so bad we cant play without it!(b5 or 4 1 or 4 draw bend). Were gonaa do it any way so why practice it too. Meow.

Oh me oh my. A lot of good points made here. Here are the secret hidden lessons that the corporate big wigs don't want you to see in this video:

1) The man in the video is tapping his foot and working with time. This is VERY IMPORTANT.

2) The man in the video is able to verbalize a groove which means he can also hear it inside his head. This is an everlasting free source of living backing tracks.

3) The man in the video corrects himself when he makes mistakes.

You're becoming more and more musical Mooncat. This transcends being a great harp player. Irrespective of instrument, it's just great soloing. I'd be proud to play like this on anything.
