SHERPA I AM
Trying to lighten my gig bag packing weight, I recently removed several things I probably wasn't going to need.
At a new jam last night, the mixer was far, and the snake on stage was near, but needed (of course) XLR input.
I usually set up wireless > FX processor > to the board with a Hi-Z guitar cord. (No amp) Didn't have my DI box with me!
So I ran wireless receiver-out, with XLR to the snake, No FX. (sigh) Really missed hearing my tap-tempo echo, and amp-tone grit and EQ.
LESSON LEARNED
Take it with you, anyway. (Ya never know)
