I sorta hinted at the following good news a few weeks back but was prevented contractually from sharing it until now: Satan & Adam will be playing the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on Sunday, May 5th. We're playing the Blues Stage (or Tent), I believe.

We have our agent, Steve Fugett, to thank for this big get.

Kudos to Satan and Adam for getting on this bill. Legendary and great festival.

I'm happy to give the following update: Sterling Magee has been cleared by ALL parties down in Florida--the Boca Ciega home, the doctor in charge, his sister (who weighs in on such things) and Satan and Adam WILL be performing at 12:15 at the Blues Tent on Sunday May 5th.

We will also be performing that evening from 9 to 10:30 at the Little Gem Saloon in NOLA.

We have pretty much decided that this is the last out-of-town appearance for S&A. (It's possible, but not likely, that we'll play at HCH 2014. But don't count on it.) Sterling just can't do it anymore. So this will be our swan song, and I hope a few of you folks are able to share it with us.

Here's some video. The fan who took this (and passed the video along to me) apologized for the pixillation--a byproduct of shooing the (digitized) big screen with a digital camera. But I kind of like it.

When I first started to woodshed this groove, it just wasn't popping. It's popping here.
