I'm selling this (literally the one reviewed here by Mark Grandfield) Magnatone monster amp. It is definitely stage volume appropriate with a full band. I rely on my Kinder "Soulful" for shows so no longer need it. No issues. 600.00 including shipping (US only and Paypal). I'm also selling a Bb b radical (no issues and lightly used) for 260.00 including shipping (US only and Paypal too). email: smellmyfeet@me.com I'm circling the drain financially now thus:

Hello. I'm brand new here and I'm about to buy my first Special 20 as an upgrade from the squeaky Bluesband I've been playing, but I have a 1960s Hohner Super Chrominica Chromatic in C (including the green plastic case) I'd like to sell.

It needs some TLC. Holes 4 and 5 blow the same note, and holes 8 and 9 do as well, though obviously a different note than 4 and 5. It could use a cleaning, for sure, and maybe some reeds replaced. I'm asking $65 including shipping OBO. I'm not trying to make a killing, I just want to make enough to buy another harp.

Hohner Super Chromonica in C

You can contact me at thisischarlietrotter at gmail dot com.

Thanks,

Charlie

Seydel TrueChromatic

-based on 1847
-Solist Pro type covers with TC logo stamp
-441hz equal tempered
-TrueChromatic tuning. C, C#, B, Bb
-ebony comb (other wood types possible)
-overbend set-up by Slava Vinogradov

True Chromatic tuning allows unprecedented ease of playing, and perfection in bends. All notes are 1/2 draw bends, that enables the best performance, much easier than standard tuning. You will need 4 overblows for complete chromatic scale.

I have the following items for sale, with free shipping to anywhere in the USA:

**SOLD** - Marine Band Deluxe - Key of Db, $32.00 - new

**SOLD** - Randy Sandoval Golden Melody comb - Tigerwood, flush tines - $21.00

**SOLD** - Blue Moon Golden Melody Comb - Corian, flush tines - $15.00 or best offer

**SOLD** - 2 Blue Moon Golden Melody Combs - Purpule Acrylic, flush tines, polished to a glossy shine - $18.00 for both

**SOLD** - Chris Reynolds Golden Melody comb - African Blackwood, slightly rounded tines, pre-drilled for support beams in case you desire to add them. $20.00 ***This is one of his earlier combs, so there isn’t as much wiggle room at the edges for the cover plates. This does not affect playability, but I wanted to point this out upfront. I loved this comb, but am simply moving away from all wooden and dymondwood combs.

**SOLD** - Chris Reynolds Golden Melody comb - Fucshia Dymondwood, rounded tines, pre-drilled for support beams in case you desire to add them - $20.00 ***This is the same as the “purple” color that the late Chris Michalek used to use.

Chris Reynolds Golden Melody comb - Red Dymondwood (not pictured), rounded tines, pre-drilled for support beams in case you desire to add them - $20.00 - basically the same as the fuchsia comb above, but red.

3 (not 4) sets of Weltmeister (Seydel) reed plates in the key of High Ab. These are the same plates as those in the Seydel Blues Session harmonica, thus they will fit any existing Seydel diatonic harp. Yes, this is an odd key, but can actually be a lot of fun to use, as well as good key to have for studio sessions. $10.00 each, 2 for $18.00, or all 3 for $24.00.

All combs have been thoroughly cleaned. (Corian and acrylics are new and unused.) As you may know, dymondwood is a material that can be hand washed with water and dish detergent without any swelling or damage to the comb.

Thanks for helping me out!

Parts are FOUND!!!!

HARP PARTS NEEDED!

I have extra Seydel 1847 plates, but no comb, screws, or covers for them. I could buy new parts from Rockin' Ron's, but thought I would ask:

Does anyone have a Seydel 1847 that doesn't work, that the owner doesn't want to fix, that they would sell at a reasonable price?

Heres a good pile of harmonicas for someone.

USA Shipping only, sorry.
Overseas shipping has become such a hassle, lost mail etc etc.

I want to sell only as one lot, or two (old standby in one lot, orchesters in another lot)

ALL hicksville era old standbys all purchased as nos old music store inventory. some have very slight oxidation etc, but all are in VG+ to mint condition. there approx 18? old standbys and 10 orchesters.

here are some pics. I can show some detailed pics and a lit of keys to serious parties. PLEASE, I need the $ and only want to sell in one/two lots, not individually.

Im in atlanta, and ill cover shipping in the lower 48

Cheers

1973 (or thereabouts) Alamo 2566 Fury amp.

Technically built as a bass amp, but like so many tube powered bass amps, makes for a better guitar amp than for bass. About 25 to 30 watts from a push-pull pair of Sylvania 7868 power tubes (original) into a single 15" 8-ohm alnico (also original with dustcap) which would appear to be CTS in origin. The speaker enclosure is close-backed and seperate from the amp chassis itself.

Solid state preamp and bridge rectifier, and a single Sylvania 12AX7A phase inverter (also original). Two 1/4" inputs, Volume, Bass, and Treble controls (pots are CTS), simple toggle power switch. Vinyl strap handle, metal bottom corners and gliders. Two-prong convenience outlet on the back. Power cord is the original two-prong, so as of right now, it’s polarity-reversible by that way.

It’s a pretty good amp for harp on it’s own, and even better with another preamp or gainstage in front of it. A Kalamazoo lined into it will fill a medium to large sized room with deep, rich tone. I’m only parting with it because I have a hinkering for something smaller with a little earlier breakup. I’m asking $440 shipped (US only). I’m also open to trades if someone has an amp that falls under what I’m looking for. Email me offlist. hawkeyekane at yahoo dot com.

For Sale Mid 60's Premier Multvox Bass Amp Chassis.
Nice project for a head or combo.

The cabinet was destroyed when I got it.

Appears to be the last of the Bass Club 160 or 220 model. Its the only one I've seen like this.

100% serviced by Keith Robb (SJ Cruncher/Avenger Designer)and good for another 50 years.

All original expect caps and resistors that were replaced. The OT is wired for 8ohm or 4ohm speakers.
Tested at 15 clean watts.

Great harp tone, not dark like older Premiers, very loud and huge bottom end. You can't max out the bass on this one. Perfect working order.

Twin 6V6, 1-EF86, 1-12AX7, SS Rectifier.

1960's Stromberg Carlson w/speakers

Single 6l6. 5y3. 12 watter pa head. Probably used for military. Flat great original paint. In great shape. The speaker cabinets are green too and box style. The grill cloth is coming off and will need attention. Has a single 12in in each cab. Head fits in the cabinets. The head will need some minor work, caps etc.. to be a daily user. Very cool though. $275 shipped or trades for old combo amps and microphones.

Cool video, you should post it on the main forum.

I expected the Corian to break because of its brittle nature, but I would have guessed the tines would break first.
Obviously when it's sandwiched between two reed plates that probably wouldn't happen?

Your combs are impressive. Is that your design?

Set of 6 NOS Hohner Marine Band harps, keys: A, Bb, C, D, F and G. Going through my stash of harps. When I bought these I was told they were NOS, all look new, a few still have the paperwork. all are Hicksville, NY harps, dating to late 50's and 60's, I think, not an expert. None are pre-war. Blew through a couple seem fine. Harmonica George was selling a lot of these in the spring for 45.00 each, SOLD

These harps are as they were in a music store 40 years ago! The boxes don't show any age at all!
