I played Hohner Marine Band Crossover harmonica in A through a microphone with Hohner Blues Blaster shell and a Shure 99S556 dual impedance controlled magnetic element (CM). This type is the least expensive CM/CR element and it sounds great! The element was bought at Greg Heumann’s superb harmonica site www.BlowsMeAway.com.

The microphone was connected into vacuum tube preamplifier BEHRINGER Tube Ultragain MIC200 (with a 12AX7 tube) connected into DIGITECH Vocal 300 multieffects pedal connected into BOSS BR-1200CD digital recording equipment. Bass & drums tracks and reverb effects were created in BOSS BR-1200CD. No delay effects. No guitar amp was used.

My earlier videos of stuff I got from www.BlowsMeAway.com:

Sounds great Haken. Love the tone you are getting there! Did you have to get a different gasket?

Thanks Martin!

Yes I bought a gasket from Greg Heumann for a CM/CR element to fit in a JT30 astatic shell.
