Thanks for sharing. This song can be found on a album under Big Walter Horton's name, entitled "The Soul of Blues Harmonica" in as good condition if not better. The rest of the album does not contain quality versions of his songs necessarily, but are a good reference mark. It has a bad quality version of Blow Wind Blow, but then again, I've yet to hear a good quality version of that. ---------- Hunger is the best spice.

Here is the track list from that LP.
Groove Talk Wee Baby Blues It's All Right Wrinkles Hard Hearted Woman John Henry Good Moanin Blues Friday Night Stomp Gonna Bring It On Home La Cucaracha
I always enjoyed that record. I thought his tone on it was great. His sound during the mid-60's was nothing short of fabulous. The backing by Buddy Guy was top notch, too.

Unfortunately, I do not know if that is still being made on CD, but it is available on iTunes. ---------- Hunger is the best spice.

MCA/Chess did not reissue that one on CD. It was available on vinyl and cassette tape.

If that were played on Latin Radio Stations across the world today, it would be #1 in two days on the charts!

My favorite track on that album is Good Moanin' Blues. The playing on that track is perfect.

Not here. I'd like to start a record label just for the stuff I want that isn't in the Canadian iTunes store.

JD: This one and seven other rare recordings are available for free download here:
Big Walter Tunes
(Scroll to the bottom of the page).
They were reportedly recorded by Clas Ahlstrand, who made them available there for free.
