My dear wife asked me 'do you want a loop pedal for XMAS?' Ahem, 'yes' was the answer. I have got great info on this forum on where to buy harps (Rockin' Rons), and harp mics (Blows Me Away). I am based in Oz so there doesn't appear to be a lot of choice. So is there a good reliable online retailer for the Akai Headrush? I figure if it is good enough for Son of Dave, Brandon bailey and the like, it will be more than good enough for me. Thanks in advance...

You might want to check out the Zoom G5 which has a 60 sec multi looper, Digi FX, and a tube.

I use an older model G7 for guitar, but it also works for harp. My G7 still works so I have not upgraded as yet...but keeping my eye on it.

Domo arigatou, Tokugawa-san. Good suggestion. I see the Akai will only run off the power mains, so will be useless for busking. I thought about the headrush because someone said it was 'simple' (like me).
I will investigate further.

The ZOOM may be a bit advanced for me. Also like the look of the Boss RC3. Plus I want something I can take busking.

i been using a rp155 effects pedal here lately,it works and is inexspensive,But it only has 20 seconds of loop, and it will add layers but wont fade them. But i couldnt afford a full fledge loop pedal, when I got it.it works. But limits things ,I just did a song I posted tonight with it,and although I like the ability to lead, over some,I have to let the rythem ride the 1-4

longer than I want,if it had about 40 seconds more I could loop a turnaround,But oh well;-)

Boss and Digitech make dedicated pedals. How is your access to Musiciansfriend?

They ship to Oz, looks like, Harp Ninja. Are they OK to deal with? There were some bad reviews on the net. Sound slike you've got the OMB sound down pretty good, by the way.

Cheers

Thanks!

Regarding MF, I've had absolutely no issues whatsoever. They have been very easy to work with.
