I don't like going off-topic on this Forum, but when I came across this Jimi Hendrix performance on YouTube, I just had to post. 1969 Stockholm - black and white - 56 minutes of pure Hendrix. Get it while it is on there before the estate shuts it down. This is an amazing video.

The band opens with some heavy blues "Killin' Floor". They also do a nasty "Voodoo Child (slight return)" and "Red House".

Good stuff! Thanks!

I don't know why anything musical, especially blues related would be considered off topic. I notice that a lot on here.

To me "off topic" is a soup recipe or a Titans game.

I guess you are correct. Lot of blues on this video.

Nice. Jimi's one of my all time favs. And I lean more toward his bluesier stuff then the far out psychedelics, though i do appreciate that artistry as well. Got a four disc box set which includes Jimi's live cover of Dylan's Like a Rolling Stone (outstanding!) at Monterey and other live material.

Just listening to his between song stage banter, he seemed like such a chilled soul. So smooth and relaxed with the crowd. Some of his best stuff is the little things, a great fill here a little embellishment there. Just stuff that sounds so tasty. Like you couldn't imagine it being played any other way.

One can only wonder where he would have taken it if he hadn't died.
