My vintage Ibanez delay has been acting up for the last couple months and I've been trying to decide how to replace it. After looking at all the popular options and almost pulling the trigger several times I stumbled on and purchased the Mini Mod analog delay from Modtone and I'm certainly glad I did. The add said this: The ModTone MTM-DLY Delay Pedal marries two technologies to produce one of the most sought after delay sounds on the market today. Combining the warm tone of analog circuitry from yesteryear with the precision of today's digital processing chip has resulted in a unique, hybrid guitar pedal. The ModTone Delay first produces the rich, warm enhanced signal that's created between your guitar's pickups and the pedal. This sound signal is then seamlessly repeated with swiss-clock precision by the unit's digital chip. This ModTone Mini-Mod Overdrive offers you a high quality, true-bypass effects pedal that can effortlessly go from quick slapback to long repeats. Each ModTine Mini-Mod guitar effects pedal has been designed to enhance your guitar's tone and includes a 5 year warranty. What I've found is it doesn't color my tone the way my old pedal did. Has a warm tone with no treble boost that I can hear. It's small, medal, with solid switch and looks good to boot. Does everything I want from a delay and was delivered to my door for $39.95. I saved enough to buy that Crossover I've been wanting.
