Usually when a YouTube video begins with "The most amazing......," it's not. This one is. Four minutes of postmodern sonic collage, all our of the mouth of one Frenchman, all in one uninterrupted take, without edits or cutaways. By two minutes I thought he had cycled through every possible sound, but he kept on. If this isn't a virtuoso for our time, I don't know what one is:
yes he is good watch the video of him with a looper pedal at a battle it gets better, also check out a guy called reeps one he can make multiple sounds all at the same time. very cool ---------- Slim's-Custom-Harmonica-Cases-Website
Beat-boxing offers harp players a lot of possibilities. However, much like a harp, you make those sounds on both the inhale and exhale. Consequently, (IMHO), playing harp as you beat-box is very limited due to breathing conflicts. BUT, if you loop, the you can lay down some very nice beats in layers for an all-around sound that is pleasing and distinctive. It's like having a percussion section with you on demand. Very cool stuff.

Holy shit, that gave me goosebumps. Not only it's "amazing" but it actually also captures hip hop history in 4 minutes, from Sugarhill Gang & Grandmaster Flash to perfect impressions of Method Man, Dre & Eminem.
Suddenly I saw those years as a teenage rap gangsta just flashing in front of my eyes. So many songs I almost forgot...
@Frank: I'm not following the associative process that leads from the video that I posted of a virtuoso beat boxer to a video explaining how to wipe your ass with a single sheet of paper. Please elaborate. I'd genuinely like to understand how your mind--unique, specific, wonderful!--works. Thanks! No irony intended.
Good morning K-runner...When J-Sin started his thread off with (Holy shit),I decided to research videos on "how to wipe your ass" and when I saw these vids were getting 10's of thousands of hits I thought maybe I should revive the 22 million hit thread and see where the conversation leads. B-wannabe, never commented on the 22 mill hit vid till after it was "revived" - and he makes a great point! I saw a fellow on TV last night who is a musician and has 44 million hits, he is in the top ten of you tube vids watched. I suppose I felt like the OP was referring to "HITs" as much as anything else and frankly I was rather surprised how quickly it was cast off the front page and thought it was worthy of being given a second life with the poop vid as the carrot...We all want people to move and groove to our music and "dancing" has everything in common with it - time, groove, rhythm, syncopation etc...Check out this vid, I have a feeling they have all watched the beatbox vid and added to the 22 mil views. This vid almost has 1 million...
